Caracas, a heaven’s branch

This city is located in one of the central range valleys, quite close from the sea coasts, those that are covered by the Caribbean Sea, and placed at a height of 984.6 yards above the sea level, giving the city a very pleasant weather with temperatures that flows form 71.6 to 80.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

With 1198.53 square miles of surface and a 4 million inhabitant population, Caracas is the capital and the most complete city of Venezuela.  It is located at the feet of “El Avila National Park”, with its 84.300 hectares composed by magnificent green areas and over 2844.4 yards of height, it is with no doubt one of the best tourist attractions of the city, where you can enjoy of an ice-skating track, get pleasure of the beautiful view offered by the funicular and have a taste of the most exquisite dishes of the region.

Caracas is also known as a heaven’s branch because it is the model of huge contrasts that mix together like any other city, splendid modern structures, great colonial sites, World Heritages, concrete jungles with beautiful parks and natural reservoirs; also the industrial and commercial activity typical from any major city.  The city is also a great cultural center, because it can satisfy all the tastes by offering a great variety of activities, it has excellent cultural places and museums with different exhibitions of national and international artist, modern malls, concerts, theatre plays and ballet.  People can practice mountain bike and the visitor can also enjoy of the greatest line of restaurants which offers the best in national and international cuisine, cinemas, parks and a shaken night life.

Because of these characteristics and many others Caracas is the place that every traveler must visit.
