Located in the north-east of the country, the Falcón state is a colorful shelter of impressive contrast which goes from a long coast line made of coral reefs to the only desert of the country, from marvelous underwater jungles to colonial towns of great tradition and history, from incredible autochthonous architectures to warms landscapes which make you reencounter with the nature.
Better known by its charming tropical environment (where the beaches from the Morrocoy National Park outstand) the Falcón state also has many other options to offer, among the ones you can find: the picturesque city of “Santa Ana of Coro”, which is the capital of the state, famous for its colonial splendor which have been selected as a Cultural World Heritage by the UNESCO; dry zones covered by the Paraguaná Peninsula and fabulous caves and mountains visible from the whole parts of this beautiful state.
