Los Roques, a paradise in the Caribbean

The Archipelago of Los Roques is located to 97,56 miles from the Central Coast and was declared National Park in 1972 to protect and to preserve its majestic marine atmosphere. It includes 225,153 hectares of surface that include, between internal and surrounding waters, 42 keys, countless sand banks and about 250 coralline reefs that make of this marine park the most extensive of the Caribbean Sea with exceptional beauty and great ecological value.

With an average temperature of 81.14 ºF, constant breezes and little rains, Los Roques is the ideal place to spend a few days of magic and relaxation.  Los Roques is only 25 minutes from Maiquetía by plane and it’s worth the trouble in order to glimpse the beauty that few places in the world can offer, this beauty is shown by an intense light blue, crystalline waters, white sands and a surprising marine world that makes possible the practice of water sports like the diving, windsurf, sailing and kayak.

The social activity is centered in the “Great Roque”, town of fishermen that offers all the tourist services which go from fully equipped luxury residences, to familiar inns ready to have you in, with the comfort you deserve; in the same way you will be able to cruise on sailboats and boats to admire the whole park and you will also be able to taste the most exquisite and fresh fishes with homemade flavor. The most visited keys are the Francisqui and the Crasquí.
